Food Markets

Our favorite: the market in Clermont l’Hérault

This is one of the oldest markets in the Languedoc.

It takes place in the historic town center every Wednesday morning, near the church. What is special about it is that the layout hasn’t changed since it first started. It is like a journey of initiation: you start with all the fruit and vegetable stalls, then the meat and poultry and finally the clothes a little further on. It never changes and it’s organic!
