ENTRE L’HÉRAULT ET LA DOURBIE

ENTRE L’HÉRAULT ET LA DOURBIE

A walk along the water?s edge to take the time to learn more about the flora and fauna of waterways and their surroundings. Birds, dragonflies and amphibians should all be there!

The Hérault River is transformed by each season, so come and observe the changes, and continue your discovery with a visit to the Domaine de la Dourbie, an enchanting place, ideal for a bucolic break, that conceals many nuggets.

Demain la Terre ! is an association dedicated to environmental education for sustainable development, and the promotion of natural and cultural heritage. It offers activities for local residents, visitors and schoolchildren, in partnership with a wide range of local players.

Domaine de la Dourbie takes its name from the small river that flows through the vineyards into the Hérault. Its approach is based on authenticity and symbiosis with the terroir, the vines and the local producers. La Dourbie is a vineyard and two organically-farmed terroirs: 20 hectares around the estate, 1.8 hectares in the black soil of basaltic tuff that covers the slopes of an extinct volcano, and 12 hectares at an altitude of 300 meters in the Rouveyrolles valley,
embraced by garrigue and benefiting from a unique microclimate.
