SIXIÈME ÉDITION DU FESTIN DE MOLIÈRE

A culinary and theatrical journey to the heart of the Pézenas terroir.

The winegrowers of the Pézenas terroir invite you to re-enact the splendors of the city of Pézenas, the scene of great wines, in 1653, when the Estates General of Languedoc met in the city. Molière and his troupe came to entertain the court of the Prince de Conti, a great lord and lover of theater, the third most important person in the kingdom of France.

The evening begins with a festive aperitif on the Château terrace.
Actors from the L?illustre Théâtre de Pézenas troupe will perform some of the impromptus from Molière's plays.

The gastronomic dinner will take place in the indoor reception room, where each table of 10 guests will be accompanied by a costumed winemaker, ambassador for the red wines of the Languedoc Pézenas appellation.

A rare opportunity for the 250 guests to taste exceptional vintages, while discovering their history and terroir.
