Embark on a tour of France’s wines and terroirs, with 24 wines to taste in two days!
Do you love wine and want to learn more about France’s major wine regions? The Ludivinum Wine School offers a friendly wine-tasting weekend to discover the grape varieties, terroirs, appellations, and unique characteristics of French wines.
The program includes four 3.5-hour workshops led by Bernard Bruzac, an agricultural engineer specializing in viticulture and enology and holder of the National Diploma in Enology:
Saturday morning: Champagne, Alsace, and the Loire Valley.
Saturday afternoon: Bordeaux and the Southwest, including a tasting of a Grand Cru Classé.
Sunday morning: Burgundy and Beaujolais, featuring a tasting of a premier cru.
Sunday afternoon: the Rhône Valley, Provence, Corsica, and Languedoc-Roussillon.
Each workshop combines easy-to-understand explanations of the history of the vineyards, terroirs, grape varieties, winemaking methods, and appellations with a guided tasting of six representative wines.
You choose your package! Join us for the full weekend, a single day, or a half-day dedicated to the vineyards that interest you most.
An ideal experience to expand your knowledge, refine your palate, and discover the diversity of French wines, whether you’re a beginner or a passionate wine lover.
